A four stage sales funnel with visitors leaking away at each stage before conversion

Sales Funnel & Landing Page Strategy

You already have the traffic. Most of it leaves.

Start with a $2,950 Funnel Audit. We map every step of your conversion path, find where visitors drop and why, and hand you a fix list ranked by expected impact. Three weeks.

The maths

Cheaper than buying more traffic.

Every marketing budget defaults to acquisition. But a visitor who lands and leaves has already cost you money, and the second visit costs the same as the first.

2% to 4%

Doubling conversion has the same revenue effect as doubling traffic

At a fraction

of the cost, because the traffic is already paid for

Weeks

not quarters, before the first changes show up in the numbers

Diagnosis

Five places funnels leak.

In order of how often they turn out to be the real problem, rather than the order agencies usually test them in.

01

The offer

The most common failure and the least examined. If the thing being asked for is worth less than the effort required, no amount of design fixes it.

02

The match

Ad promises one thing, the page says another. Message mismatch between click and landing is the fastest way to waste spend.

03

The form

Every additional field costs completions. Most B2B forms ask for information sales will not use until the third call.

04

The proof

Buyers arrive sceptical. Pages that assert without evidence lose people who were otherwise ready.

05

The follow-up

A lead who converts and hears nothing for four days is a lead you paid for and gave away.

Page construction

What a page that converts is made of.

A specific headline that matches the promise that brought them. One primary action, repeated rather than competing with five others. Proof positioned where scepticism peaks, not collected in a testimonial ghetto at the bottom.

Then the mechanics: a form asking only for what the next step genuinely requires, fast load, no layout shift, and tracking that fires correctly so you can tell which half of it worked.

None of that is a design opinion. Each element is testable, and we test rather than assert.

Testing

Research first, then test.

Button colour tests are what CRO looks like when nobody did the research. We start with session recordings, form analytics, exit surveys and sales call transcripts, because those tell you what to test.

Then hypotheses get written properly: what we are changing, what we expect, and what result would prove us wrong. Losing tests are reported as clearly as winning ones, since a loss that teaches you something about the buyer is worth more than a win you cannot explain.

Pricing

Projects and programmes.

Market rates put a CRO audit at $2,000 to $15,000, a landing page rebuild with testing at $10,000 to $30,000, and full funnel projects at $15,000 to $50,000. These sit at the lower end of each band with the scope published rather than quoted.

All prices in USD. Projects are paid in full at the start. The programme is billed first month at checkout and invoiced thereafter.

Fit

Traffic volume decides what is possible.

Testing needs data. Below a certain volume, statistical testing is theatre and the honest answer is research-led rebuilds instead.

Good fit

  • Meaningful paid or organic traffic already arriving
  • A defined conversion action worth measuring
  • Analytics installed, even if imperfectly
  • Willing to change the offer, not only the page
  • Sales can tell you what leads are actually like

Not yet

  • Very low traffic, where tests cannot reach significance
  • No clear conversion action defined
  • The offer itself has never been validated
  • You want a redesign, not a conversion outcome
  • Nobody can approve copy changes quickly
What is conversion rate optimisation?

Conversion rate optimisation is the practice of increasing the percentage of visitors who complete a desired action, using research and controlled testing rather than opinion. It works on traffic you already pay for, which is why improving conversion from two percent to four percent has the same revenue effect as doubling traffic at a fraction of the cost.

How much does funnel and CRO work cost?

Market rates in 2026 put a one-time CRO audit at $2,000 to $15,000, a landing page redesign with testing at $10,000 to $30,000, and full funnel projects at $15,000 to $50,000, with ongoing programmes commonly $1,500 to $30,000 per month. marive publishes fixed pricing: $2,950 audit, $6,950 landing page, $16,950 funnel build, or $4,950 per month for continuous optimisation.

How much traffic do we need for testing to work?

A/B testing needs enough conversions to reach statistical significance, which usually means at least a few hundred conversions per month on the page being tested. Below that, we do research-led rebuilds and measure before and after instead, and we will tell you which situation you are in during the audit.

How long before we see results?

A rebuilt page usually shows movement within four to six weeks once it has enough traffic. A testing programme produces its first meaningful wins in the second or third month, because the first cycle is spent establishing baselines and running the initial hypotheses.

Do you redesign the whole website?

No. This service targets the specific pages and steps where conversion happens, which is usually a small number of high-intent pages rather than the entire site. Rebuilding everything is slower, more expensive, and mixes up which change caused which result.

What if a test loses?

Roughly half do, and that is normal. A losing test that explains something about your buyer is more valuable than a win nobody can account for. We report losses in the same detail as wins, because a programme that only ever reports wins is not testing honestly.

Can you work with our existing pages and tools?

Yes. We work with whatever stack you already run, whether that is WordPress, Webflow, HubSpot or a custom build, and with your existing analytics and testing tools where they are adequate. Where tracking is broken, fixing it comes first, because testing on bad data is worse than not testing.
